Hi Guys,

I don’t normally email on a Monday but I wanted to share with you my little win . I was the First lady back in the Gosport 5km Race yesterday, this took place at Stokes Bay, I achieved the run in 20min-15sec not my best time but I did it. Up until Saturday evening before the event I hadn’t registered for the race as I was unsure whether I wanted to take part!  as you all know I had a 10 day Holiday to Greece the week before and not really given my training it’s all. I woke up on Sunday morning and though sod it, just go have a go and take part. So I drove down and registered at 8.30am, race took place at 10.45am. I kept telling myself I can do this I have done it before when I won the 5k race for life back in 2010 which I did a time of 17mins 35secs so how hard could it be.

The night before I made sure that my evening meal was packed full of clean carbs and I drank a bit more water than normal which did keep me up a little through the night needing the toilet. In the morning for breakfast I had a herbalife shake (strawberry) with a banana, Organic natural Yogurt, Almond milk, Blueberries and you could say I did have my spinach too. Hand full of it went into my smoothie. Hmmmm Nice. Followed by 1 litre of water before 10am then a Thermo complete, and night works all supplied through our Herbalife range. It all worked a treat, However one thing I was very positive about, I kept telling myself I am going to win first lady back, I think the more you tell yourself you are going to do something the more you can achieve it, if you keep telling yourself I can’t do this, I can’t do that you don’t do it…… So think Positive thoughts all the time weather that be to lose weight, to get fit, to take part in something or maybe you want a new car, a new house, nice things in life we all want, keep positive keep telling yourself one day I am going to do this and YOU WILL. I never thought that Bootcamp would be as successful, 6 years later with 6 locations the business is stronger than ever, do you think if I was negative I would have achieved all this no I wouldn’t.

So my advice to you all on this Monday would be, choose realistic goals that you can achieve, however not easy ones, ones you have to work towards. Step out of your comfort zone you will enjoy the challenge. Being positive and thinking positive breeds positivity so today try something different you’ve always wanted to do, you never know you might enjoy it.

Have a good week x
