Obesity has increased in the UK!

I’m sure lots of you have all seen the news over the last few days.

The figures are being featured on every possible national and local newspaper, tv chat shows and even facebook!

It is scary though. The reports indicate that in the UK alone 67% of men and 57% of women are over weight or obese!

More worryingly is the fact it is now having a huge impact on our children, The reports conclude that 26% of boys and 29% of girls are also overweight or obese.

The Lancet medical journal’s figures showed that nearly 30% of the planets population are overweight/obese and are at serious risk of cancers, heart disease and diabetes.

If our children are already falling into these statistics what future will they have?

So what is the answer?

We send out lots of information to you all on tips to help improve your health and wellbeing by exercising and eating healthily.

Lots of people that read our emails may still be on their ‘getting there journey’.

What I mean is they may still be gaining the self confidence to come along to our sessions. They may still be plucking up the courage to find out when they can start, or they may be wishing to change some things in their diet but the task feels too huge and they don’t know were to start.
