Kirsty Douglas - Gosport Nov 2011

I joined Kelly's bootcamp after moving to the South Coast from Scotland. Not knowing anyone onthe first night was a little daunting as I attended myself not long after moving. Kelly immediately welcomed me into the class and paired me with people she could see I was at a similar ability as.

Each session is different, and it's clear that Kelly puts in alot of effort to plan each session beforehand. She engages well with everyone in her sessions, and always uses encouraging words to keep you going throughout the sessions. Kelly uses a variety of different techniques and exercises that work all of your muscles, she keeps your heart rate up so that you get the results you are looking for.

I am a very satisfied bootcamper and very pleased that I went to my first session. Not only have I increased my fitness levels massively since joining I have also made some lovely friends.

Jo Wyatt – Clanfield Nov 2011

I am so glad that I made the decision to join Body Blast boot-camp 4 months ago !

I was fairly unfit, and worried I would not be able to keep up with the rest of the class.  But I had nothing to worry about, as Rhian was really supportive and encouraging.  Her classes are challenging, but good fun, with a great variety of exercises, so each class we do something different, which is a refreshing change from the gym classes I used to attend, with the same old thing week after week.

There is also something special about exercising outdoors, it's so much more fun......even when it's dark and wet !

I can recommend Rhian's classes to anyone, any age or fitness level.    I already feel so much fitter and healthier after just a few months, and really look forward to each class.

Janet Robinson - Fareham Sept 2011

When I joined Body Blast Boot Camp last year I was a morbidly obese. 43yr old couch potato!  After 2 decades of yo-yo dieting and several failed attempts to stick to any kind of fitness regime I knew I had to do something!

I came across Body Blast Boot Camp website and decided to give Kelly the trainer a call.  I was absolutely terrified when I arrived for my first session. What if I couldn’t do it? What if I was the biggest/most unfit one there?  Years of being obese had not just affected my health but had severely knocked my confidence and self esteem.

But I need not have worried.  Kelly was lovely, encouraging and enthusiastic.  No, I couldn’t do all the exercises, but Kelly showed me easier alternatives until my fitness levels improved. Yes I was the biggest there, but it didn’t matter because everyone was so friendly and encouraging. I left my first session feeling totally exhausted, but with a huge sense of achievement and a determination to carry on.

Now 16 months on, I have lost over 2 stone and dropped 3 dress sizes.  But I have gained so much.  I am stronger and fitter, both physically and mentally, my confidence has returned, my energy levels have increased and I have made some lovely new friends.

This is the only form of exercise I have ever stuck to and genuinely enjoyed.  I am there, twice a week come rain, shine or even snow! Kelly works us hard, but every session is different and fun and the sense of achievement at the end is hard to beat.

Katie – Clanfield Oct 2011

After giving up my gym membership and taking up running I wanted a class that complimented my new fitness regime and would help me tone up.

I have now been going to Clanfield Bootcamp once a week since early 2011 and I absolutely love it.

Every Bootcamp session is unique, working on different parts of the body each time. Rhian is inventive with each circuit and constantly keeping us motivated. It is always great fun and sociable. Instructions are clear and concise and Rhian is always on hand to make sure each exercise is done correctly and safely. She always has alternatives to simplify exercises or ways to push yourself harder.

I have definitely toned up and increased my fitness. The downside can be the weather but have to say it never deters the fun. I can't believe I enjoy exercising outdoors so much!

Bootcamp is definitely a great way to get fit for people of all ages and you can work at your own level at all times.

Sam Walden - Gosport Sept 2011

In May 2011 I was overweight and out of condition and lacking in confidence to do something about it.  I saw an advert in the local paper for Body Blast Boot Camp and checked out the website.  I was surprised to see normal looking people of varying ages and sizes.  I emailed Kelly and was invited along to try a session at Stokes Bay.  Kelly put me at ease and introduced me to the other boot campers who gave me a warm welcome and lots of encouragement.

Every session is different come rain or shine but each one is fun and challenging.  In the 6 weeks leading up to the Race for Life I lost 10lbs and 7 inches all over and took part in my first ever 5k race.  I completed the course in 36mins and felt great , so much so that when the other Campers suggested I enter the Seaford 5K 3 weeks later - I did.  On Sunday 14th August I ran my 2nd 5k in 35 minutes without stopping, it was a great day out.

So far I've lost a stone toned up and feel great.  I'm not the fastest or fittest by a long way but I've made vast improvements in myself and having lots of laughs along the way.  Kelly is inventive supportive and encouraging making the workouts fun and always different.  At the start of this year I would not have believed I would be rolling around in the grass and rain getting fit making new friends and having so much fun.

Liz - Clanfield Sept 2011

I was nervous to get back into exercising after the birth of my daughter and kept making excuses like 'I’ll do something when I get thinner!' but my friend signed up to Bodyblast Bootcamp so thought I would give it a go. I must admit I was expecting a big man stood there is his camouflage gear shouting at us for 50 minutes - but it couldn’t have been further from that! The people are all really friendly and you instantly feel at ease knowing that everyone is at different levels of fitness.  I have been to every gym in town but there is nothing like being out in the open-air.  I would recommend Body Blast Boot Camp to anyone.

Mandy Chalkley - Gosport April 2011

As I reached the age of 50, I became increasingly aware of being totally out of condition and carrying a few extra pounds that I really didn't need.  I had to do something about it.

I tried going to the gym, but it was so boring (yawn) and impersonal.  I saw Body Blast Boot Camp advertised in a local magazine and decided to give it a go - what did I have to lose?

Everybody was really friendly and Kelly, the instructor, helped me with the exercises, making sure I was doing them correctly and not overdoing it.  I was hooked, and since I've been going twice a week, I've lost nearly 2 stone, dropped 3 dress sizes and have so much more energy, as well as being fitter than I've ever been!  I've also made a lot of new friends and consider Boot Camp to be a social occasion as well as a great workout.

Allan Davis - Gosport 2011

The instructor put me at ease straight away by being a warm and friendly person. Yes I was the most unfit person there but still achieved all the exercises that were given out, but was reminded to do them at my own pace with a gentle push towards the end to get that last one!

Mavis Caul

I was an unfit and daunted 64yr whom Kelly put as ease extremely quickly. With her one to one personal training sessions, over 6 months Kelly’s incredible support and motivation skills and utmost professionalism helped me to become very fit and healthy, also helping me achieve thing I never thought myself being the age I am could.

Paul Clarke

I've trained with Rhian now for 2 years and the results have been very rewarding. I was not unfit when I started but Rhian has progressed my fitness further through weight training, boxing & core stability.

The sessions are challenging yet motivating and I'm always encouraged to work that bit harder. Rhian is punctual, reliable and will make you work hard... but the results will be worth it!

Nikki Shearman

I started Boot Camp in March 2009 and still remember that first cold wintery night, where after 45 minutes I was drenched in sweat and feeling like I was going to die, but I also knew that this was a style of exercise that I loved.

The instructor, Kelly, is brilliant she puts 110% effort into every session and gets the absolute max out of everyone whatever their level of fitness and whatever their individual goals are.

Sheila Marshall

Turning 50 last year I was physically fit but in a rut with my exercise routine and was looking to regain my motivation and that’s when I started Body Blast in January 2009.  Doing 2 regular sessions each week I have seen a big improvement in my upper body strength and core stability and this has been very beneficial to my overall fitness.  I love the fact the sessions are outdoors because the weather is as varied as the exercise routines.

Sue Baddeley

I joined a gym and learnt a wide range of exercises and happily found the beginnings of a waist line but it got a little boring doing it on my own.  So I joined Body Blast Boot Camp held twice a week at Fareham with Kelly and a number of others who enjoyed applying the exercises outside (rain or shine) and having fun whilst doing it.

I was stretching myself even further with a little more effort and specifically formulated to my personal needs. So I can thoroughly recommend it to every one of all ages and abilities, come and join in, have a laugh and get fit.

Natalie Brown

After having my baby in mid September 2009, and with our wedding booked for less than six months, I was getting worried how i would lose the weight and tone up in time!  I went started Body Blast Boot Camp in January 2010.

Well, the weight just fell off me, and i toned up so well without even realising it! The boot camp is great fun, and very sociable - hard work, but Kelly makes it fun, and no two sessions are ever the same.

Mike Battersby

I joined Bodyblast in January 2010 when the ground was frozen solid and I weighed 14st 10lbs. 3 sessions of 8 camps later and a few miles running on roads and I’ve dropped one stone and crucially 7% of body fat.

The Bootcamp is brilliant fun, fantastically well run by Kelly who is an inspiration and always different  and interesting. If you are serious about getting fit – get down there!

Jenny Greene

I had only very recently moved to Portchester from Scotland, and was looking for an alternative to the gym and in particular an outlet where I could not only get fit, but meet and socialis with different people.

The boot camp sessions are fun, energic, dirty,  sweaty, sometimes hilarious way of getting fit.  Kelly shakes up the sessions constantly which keeps it fresh and constantly encourages you to try and learn new things and push yourself.

I have definately toned up, my fitness has increased, and despite the rain, cold frosty nights, and sometimes sweltering sunshine , I keep going back as it is such fun.  I would recommend these type of sessions to everyone, any age, any fitness level, come along you will be very welcome.
