Health and Fitness has always played a significant role in my life, competing in cross countries and road races from the age of 16, I continue to exercise daily and have competed in a number of  5km race finishing 1st position. Transferring this enjoyment into a professional career gave me ability to understand individual’s needs and adapt programmes to cater specifically.

Working in this environment begun at the age of 20, when I took an interest into circuit training attending regular classes and gradually qualifying as a fitness consultant. For the past seven years I have been working across the Hampshire region covering many aspects of fitness training, focusing primarily on teaching studio classes.

At the age of 18 I took part in Camp America, leading outdoor fitness sessions on a daily basis for children aged between 12 to 17 years which gave me my initial background into teaching, planning sessions and structuring the day’s activities to enable a fun fulfilling but effective summer camp. It gave me the ability to understand outdoor pursuits, with health and safety being a key focus.

Travelling increased my self-confidence and the opportunity to work amongst a variety of different cultures. The constant change in environments allowed me to learn to adapt promptly and professionally, strategically working to gain experience and knowledge within the fitness field.

Australia was my most memorable period of working with clients on a one-to-one basis, of all age, shapes and sizes. The individuals ranged from novices through to professional Australian athletes. I spent 3 months working at The University of Sydney in 2000, whereby I assisted individuals to achieve their desired sporting and fitness goals. Following this experience I returned to the UK, to passionately further my career and achieve my all time personal goal of setting up a Boot Camp to continue to help others.
